In 2025, the GfÖ Annual Meeting will take place at the Julius-Maximilians-University Würzburg. The conference location will be the Gebäude Z6, Hubland Süd (Zentrales Hörsaal- u. Seminargebäude).

How to get to Würzburg

By train

Over 70 ICE/IC connections and more than 350 passenger trains a day make arriving in Würzburg easy.

By car

Würzburg is at the center of important main traffic routes: intersection of the A3 Cologne-Würzburg-Nuremberg, A7 Hanover-Würzburg-Ulm and A81 Stuttgart-Heilbronn-Würzburg.

By long-distance bus

Würzburg can be reached conveniently and inexpensively with various long-distance bus routes. There are currently several direct connections, including to and from Berlin, Frankfurt, Freiburg, Cologne, Munich and Rostock-Warnemünde.

By airplane

The international airports of Frankfurt and Nuremberg are only about 60 minutes away. From there, simply take the train and arrive in Würzburg. Or from the respective airport via the A3 to Würzburg.

You can buy the bus ticket at the driver to get to conference location. At registration you receive a congress ticket which is valid for the whole duration of the conference.
